Flexible subsea insulation

The product was modelled from component level onwards, and shown in a range of situations:​

This project captures an exciting new product developed by Balmoral Group which stiffens the control cable of an underwater ROV vehicle, preventing it bending or getting in the way of the work zone. 

  • In situ, fitted to the ROV

  • Disassembled in an 'exploded' view

​

  • In both flexed and unflexed settings

Modelling in 3D allowed the product to be shown as it will function in real life, which will be useful for demonstrating it to potential customers. A collection of still images were composited into an A3 sized presentation board, which could be incorporated into the product literature.
